There are many different types of learning difficulties and many more techniques to deal with them. All the tools and techniques that are out there work, but there are some key principles and concepts which if followed will dramatically improve the success rate of people that find it difficult to study. This article will explore the three key concepts that if taken in order will dramatically improve your ability to learn.

Neuro Linguistic Programming and Accelerated Learning

The range of tools that NLP can bring to study skills and accelerated learning is huge but the real answer is applying these tools in a systematic way. For example there are a lot of memory techniques that all work exceptionally well, but if you have a belief that you have a poor memory no techniques will work effectively with you.

Taking a systematic approach can create a significant improvement when dealing with learning difficulties. Usually there are three components that need to be dealt with. The first is the emotional element. Often people with learning difficulties will have had negative experience at school or worse still labelled as slow, difficult or disruptive. All of these things might mean that a person might bring up these emotions whenever they are in a learning or studying context. This will disrupt your ability to learn.

The second challenge that is faced by people with learning difficulties is about their beliefs about themselves. You will only perform as well as you believe you can. So if you have low self esteem or have created limits on what you think you can achieve this will hinder your performance.

Finally there are lots of very effective tools and techniques to be able to study, memorise and learn new skills. All of these are guaranteed to be really effective when you have overcome the fist two issues.

Then looking at the emotional content, letting go of negative emotions about studying and increasing the fun and desire to learn. The second element was to increase self esteem and replace limiting beliefs with empowering ones. Only once this was done would we move in to specific NLP Accelerated Learning tools and techniques. This proved to be a highly effective coaching formula for using Accelerated Learning Techniques for learning difficulties.
